Joshua Tree National Park

After staying in Scottsdale for a few nights, I headed back home and stopped at Joshua Tree National Park.

Scottsdale, AZ

After LA and San Diego, I headed east to Scottsdale, AZ to visit my buddy Will.

San Diego Visit

I went on a road trip last weekend from San Francisco to Scottsdale, AZ, stopping in LA, San Diego, and Joshua Tree National Park. Here are some pictures from UC San Diego and a view of the San Diego skyline.

Day trip to Monterey, CA

Matte and I took a quick trip to Monterey, yesterday. Here are a few of the good shots.

Weekend Back in the Midwest

I spent this weekend back in the Midwest, visiting friends in Chicago, family in Bloomington, and more friends and family on campus at the University of Illinois. I started the weekend in Chicago with one of my best friends, Mike Ashida. We went to our favorite Japanese restaurant in the city, called Katsu before meeting up with some friends at a local bar.

After work on Friday, we drove to the University of Illinois to visit my little sister and see some of our old classmates.

On Saturday, my sister, Mike, and Mike’s sister went to Bloomington to visit with the rest of my family. I was able to see my new sisters for the first time, which was really neat.

Point Reyes

Jason and I went to Point Reyes National Seashore last Saturday, September 27th with Matte. As usual, it was incredibly windy, but the lighting was great for snapping photos.

Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park

Since moving to San Francisco, I’ve spent most weekends exploring California. This weekend, I drove Southeast to Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park. The roads and scenery were quite impressive, and I plan to head for another visit, soon. The 4.5-hour drive to the park that was well worth the journey.
